Use your ThinkPad notebook like a desktop computer when you connect it to a genuine IBM Mini-Dock docking station.This docking station is compatible with most newer ThinkPad laptops and is downward compatible with older models (see below).
Features not found on the older docking stations or port replicators include a built in USB 2.0 4-port hub and GB ethernet.The older models will only accommodate USB 1.1 and 100mbps ethernet.
NOTE: This port replicator requires a special 7.5A 4-pin AC adapter that is not the same as the adapters provided with most of the compatible laptop models.
The ThinkPad Mini-Dock has the following features:
Pass-through connection of all ThinkPad ports, including modem (RJ11) and 10/100/1000 Ethernet (RJ45) (max 100 mbps for older Thinkpads)
Serial, parallel, keyboard, mouse, FDD, monitor, four port USB 2.0 integrated hub (operates at USB 1.1 speed with older ThinkPads), audio line-in, audio line-out, and digital monitor support/DVI
System on/off button on Mini-Dock
Key-lock security support, including at least one key
Uses 16V 7.5A 120W adapter (not included).
