(More customer reviews)this is a pretty short review, its not a complicated device.
pros - as a generic retractable cable, it works great. it has a good manual release for retracting, rather than having to fully extend them to get it to automatically retract. it has the standard gomadic interchangable tip system, which tends to work very well.
cons - my 2 complaints are 1) that its much bulkier than previous versions i had purchased (not a major complaint), and 2) it will only sporadically actually charge the device i purchased it for (htc pro touch 2). i dont know what the cause is exactly, but it tends to only have a problem with this device (it charges my archos mp3 player fine, however that does use a different tip), and only seems to relate to charging. using this as a data cable seems to work fine.
do i recommend the device? sure - just not necessarily for a TP2.
