(More customer reviews)Though the Toshiba PCX1100 connected to Comcast without trouble and initially seemed to work, I experienced significant packet loss (40%+) with many sites, resulting in slow load times and broken web apps.
Traceroute showed the packet loss to be multiple hops upstream, but the problem didn't manifest with my original modem, and went away when I replaced the Toshiba PCX1100 with a DOCSIS 3.0-compatible modem (the Zoom).
I must conclude that Comcast requires support for a newer version of DCOSIS. Don't purchase Toshiba PCX1100 unless you're sure your network will cooperate with an old modem.
