(More customer reviews)I use this to amplify signals from an attic antenna before they are distributed to all the outlets. This amplifier worked right out of the box as all such electronic components should. It looks to be quite rugged and the build quality is excellent. I have no way to measure the actual amplification but I have had no problems with the picture quality on my TVs. The newer model is smaller but since these are usually out of sight the size shouldn't matter.
